About Faseeh

Built to make Qur'an practice clearer.

Faseeh AI is built by a small team combining product design, engineering, growth, and speech AI expertise. Our goal is to help learners practise with more clarity, correct mistakes earlier, and build confidence over time.

A Message from the Founder

Welcome to Faseeh AI.

Thank you for trusting us to be part of your Qur’an learning journey.

Faseeh AI wasn’t built because AI is trendy. It was built because someone cared enough to solve a real problem. We built Faseeh AI with a simple belief: “Every learner deserves accurate guidance, every time they practice.”

Through the power of AI, we’re making independent practice smarter, more precise, and more confident so every minute you spend reciting helps you improve. This is more than an app. It’s a commitment to excellence, continuous learning, and serving millions of non-Arabic speakers around the world. Behind every feature, every model, every design decision, and every line of code is a passionate team united by one purpose:

“Helping millions of people recite the Qur’an with greater confidence, precision, and peace of mind.”

On behalf of our entire team, thank you for believing in our vision and Jazakum Allahu Khairan.

This is only the beginning of our journey. Together, we are perfecting every sound.

Our Story

“The most dangerous mistake in learning the Qur'an isn't not knowing. It's practicing the wrong sound.”

Youcef S.O. — Founder

It started with a simple observation…

Some of the most important ideas begin with a simple question.

For our founder, Youcef, that question emerged after nearly five years of teaching the Qur’an and Arabic to non-Arabic speakers from around the world.

His students were sincere, they loved the Qur’an, they attended the lessons, memorized verses, studied Tajwid rules, and practiced faithfully. Yet something kept happening.

Week after week, many students returned repeating the exact same pronunciation mistakes that had already been corrected in class. It wasn’t because they were careless. It wasn’t because they weren’t trying. It was because they simply couldn’t hear their own mistakes while practicing alone.

A small sound… a completely different meaning

Unlike many learning subjects, Qur’an recitation carries a unique responsibility. Every letter and every sound matters. Sometimes, changing just one letter can completely change the meaning.

One example appeared again and again in class. Many students struggled with the Arabic letter ع.

Instead of saying العليم (Al-‘Aleem, The All-Knowing), they unknowingly pronounced الأليم (Al-Aleem, The Painful).

One sound, one letter, a completely different meaning. That moment made one thing painfully clear:

Practicing without knowing you’re making a mistake can be more dangerous than not practicing at all.

The hidden problem to be solved

Youcef noticed that the biggest challenge wasn’t inside the classroom. It happened after class.

Students would go home, open the Qur’an, and practice for hours. Without a teacher beside them to provide the corrections, they unknowingly repeated the same incorrect pronunciation over and over until those mistakes became muscle memory. Hours of sincere effort spent strengthening the wrong habits.

This became what he called “The Critical Feedback Gap”.

Learners didn’t need more motivation. They needed immediate guidance, the moment a mistake happened.

One question changed everything

One morning, a simple question refused to leave our founder’s mind:

“What if a student was never truly alone while practicing?”

What if every learner could receive expert feedback the very second they pronounced a letter incorrectly, as if the teacher was there?

That single question became the beginning of Faseeh AI فَصيحْ.

The name itself carries the mission. Faseeh فَصيحْ means eloquent, articulate, and clear in speech. It is the word that describes someone who speaks with precision and beauty, and it is exactly what we want every learner to become, in sha’Allah.

Turning a classroom observation into AI

Building Faseeh AI wasn’t about adding artificial intelligence to Qur’an learning. It was about solving a problem that thousands and eventually millions of learners experience every day.

Our team combined expertise in education, Arabic phonetics, artificial intelligence, speech recognition, and software engineering to create an intelligent companion that listens, analyses, and guides learners in real time, the same way a real Qur’an teacher would do.

Instead of waiting until the next lesson to discover a mistake, learners receive immediate feedback while they are practicing. No more repeating the same incorrect pronunciation over and over; we won’t allow those mistakes to become muscle memory.

More than an app

Faseeh AI is not here to replace Qur’an teachers — teachers remain irreplaceable. Instead, we extend their guidance beyond the classroom.

Think of Faseeh AI as an “AI tutor” that is available whenever inspiration strikes, whenever practice begins, and whenever guidance is needed.

By eliminating the feedback gap, we help learners practice with confidence while allowing teachers to spend more lesson time on deeper learning rather than correcting repeated pronunciation mistakes.

What Guides Us

Our vision, our mission, our principles.

Our Vision

To make accurate Qur'an recitation accessible to every learner, everywhere, by providing intelligent, real-time guidance that transforms independent practice into confident, meaningful progress.

Perfecting Every Sound.

Our Mission

We believe no learner should struggle simply because a qualified teacher isn't available every time they practice. Our mission is to combine educational expertise with cutting-edge artificial intelligence to provide precise, accessible, and trustworthy pronunciation guidance for millions of non-Arabic speakers around the world. We are building technology that serves the Qur'an with responsibility, humility, and excellence.

Everything we build is guided by five principles.

01

Precision Before Perfection

Every sound matters. We help learners pronounce every letter with confidence while preserving the meaning of the Qur'an.

02

Instant Guidance

Feedback should happen the moment a mistake occurs, not days later.

03

Empowering Teachers

Our goal is not to replace teachers, but to make every lesson more effective by helping students arrive better prepared.

04

Confident Independent Practice

Learners should never feel uncertain while practicing on their own.

05

Global Accessibility

Every Muslim, regardless of where they live or whether they have access to a teacher, deserves the opportunity to improve their recitation.
